Advanced Programme Mathematics: serves to extend the students’ learning beyond the normal Mathematics curriculum and towards more complex mathematical topics. Finance, Calculus and Statistics are included, and other modules such as Mathematical Modelling and Matrices are also part of the syllabus. The lessons take place once per week for 1.5 to 2 hours. Extra lessons are held when the necessity arises.
Advanced Programme English: this is an extra subject offered by the IEB, and intended for those students who have displayed the ability to cope well with the demands of this subject. It is intended to extend their knowledge and skills, with works of literature which are challenging and stimulating. This course begins in Grade 11 and is partly self-studied, with weekly 2 hour lessons after school.
Additional languages: Holy Rosary makes allowances for additional languages (Portuguese, German, Italian etc.) to be studied in Grades 10, 11 and 12. The language will count as an ‘eighth’ subject.
